I think deep down you realize that Carolanne has something more going on than just a crush. Thinking back to how young you were & the emotions you felt when you first fell in love w/ Bill. You are probably the best person to understand what she is going through. And I love how selfless you are, not that you don't need or want for yourself, but how giving you are of your love & joy for others. You are a true inspiration to me.

I love your show and your family. I love you Margene you are so cute even though it is just a character you are portraying. I wish this was not the last season. I have really enjoyed the show but I realize everybody needs to move on into different directions and I wish all of the cast the best of luck. Love you guys. Good Luck!

I think Nikki called the police about the underage marriage you had with Bill. Nikki is way jealous! Watch your back honey around Nikkie and Barb. Barb is off her rocker.

Margene - Nikki and Barb rely on you to be the happy sunny one even though they don't know it. If your marriage dissolves they will be lost without you. I always thought your show was more about the sister-wives than about Bill. I know whatever happens you will be okay. Just keep on feeling your feelings!

I cannot believe you are going to allow this to happen.. you know it's wrong and if we can't learn from the past then we are doomed to repeat it... but that's what the shows all about right??....

Tena, You do realize it was Heather that blabbed about the underage marriage and not Nikki, right?

Dear Margene, you were only a child when Bill "married" you. It was not your fault. It was his responsibility to know whether or not you were under age. You should make no apologies for his actions. He took advantage of a child and in the most hurtful way. He didn't need to molest you to rescue you. He could have adopted you as a daughter. I am so sorry for what you have endured.
Now, you see something in Cara Lynn that is triggering your experience as a victim of sexual assault. Listen to your gut and protect her. Don't let that nasty pedophile teacher put another finger on her.

I really didn't like seeing the story take this turn. Bill was such a likable character. I was even beginning to see attractive qualities in the polygamous lifestyle. I hoped that the family could stay together and make it work. But now that we know Bill is a child molester, I don't see how there can be a happy ending.

Margene ~ Cara Lynn is heading for disaster. And, you know it too! Help her please! BTW whatever shall I do on Sunday nights now that the show is going? I am very sad to think of saying goodbye to you and your whacky (but great) family. (sniff)

I truly believe that the only one that knew Margene was 16 was Margene herself. Bill felt sick and ashamed when he realized. I don't think Barb had any idea either. When she said she may have sensed it, that was just her guilt complex speaking up. She feels guilty deep down for getting cancer in the first place, as if she could help it, but that was what led directly to everything that came after - Bill's return to the principle, the marriage to Nicki, and on and on. Barb's family was healthy before she got so sick and it's never been healthy since.

If Margene said she was older, and he Mother agreed, how can Bill be a child molester?

I hope this show ends on a good note. Right now things are a MESS!!!!!!! Like my husband says, "I wouldn't want to be Bill".

@ Cara

Margene made a choice that no one else knew about. It was easy to see that Bill did not know the truth about her age and she was the one that decided not to tell them her true age until recently. She knew what she was doing and he did not "molest" her as she has stated she does not regret anything. Margene loves Bill. Age is just a number truly. Only certain circumstances should stop two people that love each other from being together. Margene knew what she wanted and she went for it. I was 16 when I had a little girl and 17 when I had my father sign the papers to let me get married. You are old enough at that age to know what you want and to make your choices.

As for CaraLynn, she is also old enough to decide what she wants.

Many girls in their teens are looking for an older man because they want a man and not a "boy."

Bill has done nothing wrong as he was not aware of Margene's true age. Margene has not really done anything wrong as she knew what she wanted.

You have done nothing wrong. However, you feel something is wrong with the situation involving CaraLynn. She has fallen in love with a person that many would not agree of. However, it is not much different than when you fell in love with Bill. She needs someone to be there for her that truly understands what she is going through. Don't judge here. Just be there for her. You know her mother won't and that Nikki will just have a fit if she found out the truth.

This is part of the problem with polygemy had they been going for a real legal marriage then by law they could have found out Margene's real age. Margene wanted a family I think more than the marriage and before she got on the home shopping network she was very lost and bored (that is because she was too young to be tied down with three babies !!!). I truly think Bill beleived she was of age but because of all the hiding all of them had to do none of this was looked into.Margene has alot to offer the world and really don't think this marriage is for her, but we shall see how things play out, Bill really wants the laws to change especially regarding polygemy but unfortunately we all have to follow what the law is, (regardless of religion) and his rebellion has cost all of them very much and in the end I don't think they will be any happier than people who either stay single or just marry one person. I think in the end Bill will find that he cannot break the law and get away with it.

Margene, i dont think you should have did that sealing without Barb!!! What was up with that? I dont think Nicki is done with her little tricks! You watch out and you be careful

@carolyn you are being naive to think that Bill didn't know her age.. she worked at Home Plus all he had to do was check the file... or maybe he didn't want to know.. either way he seems smart enough to know the difference

TO HBO Don't take Big Love off the air-this season is back to the roots of the relationships and it is the bset season yet!

Margene, You and Nikki and Bill having a sealing without Barb? What is up with that? Barb is a HUGE part of your family and without her blessing there wouldn't have been a wedding. I am so devastated for Barb, even though she is dealing with her own issues. Seeing the look in her eyes as she passed the bedroom where the sealing was going on was the worst, she was really hurt, deep. There is something that Nikki is pulling and you know that so be careful around her and try to talk to Bill. What he did was WRONG and he needs to fix it with Barb. He needs to reseal his vows to her as well.

What happened to the story line of Bill's sister who committed suicide? Why was it dropped? will it ever be reintroduced before the show ends.
Barb is losing her marbles--she might as well leave "Church of Dad" as well as LDS and join the watered-down Community of Christ (formerly RLDS) which has women priests and barely gives lip service anymore to the Book of Mormon.
I would love to see Heather bring Benji back to the LDS fold.
If the marriage collapses, only Nikki will be left with Bill--she will love it and he will be bored to tears.
Find yourself a righteous man, Margene, and leave the Titanic before it sinks!

re: blabbing to police, Yes Heather told the bishop but also Nikki has been waiting to be wife "1" for a long long time. And with Barb's behavior lately it doesn't cut it with the others who are practicing the principal. Although it may seem like it was Heather I believe that she is too much in love with Ben to squeal. I believe it was either Nikkie or her mother.
the life had many problem this is another one thank for you share l this story

Please have Bill Paxton contact me via www.mindofgod.info/ regarding possible film project.

Am fascinated by the work of art you and the rest of the ensemble have created. Quite amazing really. You have been able to create a show that is absolutely enthralling. I also think that the decision to end the series is right for all concerned. Regards.

There was a problem with the part about the resealing. Barb said the only reason she didn't want to do it was because she didn't want to do it in the church that she did not agree with. But it was not done in the church; the three did it in the bedroom. They should have included her, for she would not have had an objection. Yes that was aggravating.

even though this 'blog' is being written by a fictitious character, i find that i have to respond. margene, you do know that you're a slut, right? you know that there is no possible excuse for any of your behavior? and you know that this is a long time building. you knew how old you were, and you chose to conceal that knowlege - since you 'wanted' bill. you wanted. it's always been about what you want. nobody else has any importance - just you. you're a conniving little schemer, just like your mother. but what can you expect? she was trash, and so are you. it should be hoped that your kids won't be too, but that's probably unrealistic. you lack the capacity for thought, for introspection, for the ability to take responsibility for any of your actions.

HBO - - can't we reconsider doing another season - - really I so much enjoy watching this series that without it I may have no other reason to keep paying extra - - because this alone is the only and my FAVORITE show to watch weekly, without it I could just rent $1 movies on REdbox.

Seriously - -this is the best series ever. Can you' consider doing another few seasons - - I"m sure there are a ton of others who agree with me
