I can't believe this season is already over. Please don't make us wait a year. I need to know what's going on in your lives. There is some real blank hitting the fan, as always. But this season took it to another level that I didn't know was possible. I'll be missing you guys...I think this round made me develop an ulcer.

I Love Big Love! Great season! My wish list is: Bill takes over the Compound as Prophet since Alby is flipping out. Then they bring Roman Grant after a faked death. Dean Stanton is one in a million and adds just the right amount of antaginism between him and Bill. His character is unpredictable. Please tell them to bring him back.

Next, Margene can have Gorin living with her and she gets preggers! Nikki can be the new First Wife after Barb has an affair with Tommy. How about it?

Please please let J.J. stay dead. I sure hope Tommy and Jerry come back. I loved the interactions between Barbara and Tommy, and the show wont be the same now without him. I hope Gorin and Anna just go away. Sure Gorin is hot but if Barbara and Margene leave the show is pretty much over.

Jesus bleed and died for this world!
Jesus passed on two commandments, the two highest commandments of all in fact,,, and with 2000+ years of practice,,,,,,, how are we doing. ? ! That is to Love God with all your power,,,, and second and likened unto it, to Love thy neighbor as Thy Love thyself.

Bill is right! Extremist have been left to pervert The Principle. Because of the incidents of perversions within monogamy, where are the crowds to shut it down? Not there, Why? Because monogamy-marriage is grand if sought in the spirit of Love (as Jesus has guided us). The Principle is but another verb of that Love Jesus taught! In it, each seeks to provide, to serve and to fulfill!!!!

The cultural gerbil wheel. It spins. It squeaks. It has spun for years,,, and on into thousands.

Then JS came prophesized The Truth. Yet, it was already there!!!!! Really. Have you read all of the New Testament (KJV)? For in the NT + OT it is also all revealed,,,,, already. REALLY. Think of how many pop-culture swings your life has taken in the gerbil wheel of idle play. Step out of the wheel and read the Bible fervently,,,,,you will then know that JS just re-said what had already been written and presented!! Seriously!!
When we let anyone think for us…..or pray instead for our knowing it….. We sheep along!
READ IT.
But I guarantee you, if you commit to read The Bible with high fervor, cover to cover. You will agree, JS did not originate it…… he repeated it. The Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants contain the Truth,,,, yet that Truth is already revealed in The Bible!!!!
The Catholics, The Baptists, The Methodist……etc….do not want you to read fervently on your own all of The Bible. Because then, they know how easily you can know the Truth for your self….. and yes, just as JS has repeated.
Incorporated churches serve the board most of all. Bill shines as the example! Independent practionaire of The Principle!!!

The Salt Lake Mormons did what they did. To hold on to their earthly temple and positions, they gave up their inspiration,,,, gave up their presence in the moment with the spirit (in 1890) when they nullified The Principle. I pray for the Mormons to come back to their corner stone, to their spire,,,, to their bold Moroni courage!!! Let the chips fall where they fall. Seek your glory and treasures in heaven,,,, not in earthly temples that have been stripped of their soul without The Principle!!!!

"The Principle" is real. SEEK. PROVIDE. SERVE. FULFILL.

As always,
Your Brother Irwin

Since Bill lied (or just held back information) to everyone that voted for him, He should be thrown out of office before he even gets there.

My 14 year old daughter and I watch Big Love faithfully. Please be sure to return with a new season. Please don't make us wait sooooo long again. We really are in love with these characters.

Quick note, I was glad there were less sex scenes this season. Didn't find theme that necessary.

NEW EPISODES SOON!!! WE ARE WATCHING!!!!!!

Can't wait for next season, although I am afraid that the finale is setting up the show for a breakdown. With the marriages failing, what will the show be able to be about???? Unless they are leading into a new grouping of Margine, Anna, and Gorin, but still. We love watching Nikki grow into her own person, and the same with the rest of the wives. Bill, however, we don't know so much about. Great season, hope that there are many more to come

All in, but with which family?

Sad to see what was an example of a good polygamous family turn into a shamble and typical tv-family.

Big Love Crew,

Great move bringing back April Blessing. I loved seeing Larry King. As I previously stated, the big shots want in on Big Love, and PLEASE do not let this stop you from casting the tremendous underrated actors. I hope that Hollis Green survives because I think Luke Askew is a tremendous underrated actor. Luke Askew is awesome.

There was never an answer regarding the lack of J.J.'s fingernails. When will we get that answer?

I hope you cast another actress for Sarah's role now that Amanda Seyfried is pursuing a full-time film career. Tina Majorino was also amazing as Heather, and now that Majorino is on that other law show, you should recast someone as Heather. You have been so wonderful at finding these amazing underrated actors that I have no doubt you could recast these roles and that Big Love will be even better.

Keep up the great work. Big Love is pure cinematic art.

Marge,

I really have to say this because you are being so phony. You are pretending that you are finally out there as polygamists, and you have had this public blog on your polygamous lifestyle for quite a while. If I were still speaking to my sister, I would tell Bill on you. I still may. He should know that you are a loose cannon.

I love Big Love so much!!! I've been watching since first episode in Season 1. Please don't make us wait almost 2 years like after the first season. This season left so many things open and I'm left anxious for the next season, as you guys always do. Love you guys!! Can't wait until next season!!!

I have to say I have watched a few episodes of this show because I kept hearing people talk about it. I guess it has entertainment value as 'FICTION' -my concern however is that there are actually people out there that think this type of lifestyle is not only acceptable but DESIRABLE! The demoralizing treatment of the women and the children is unfathomable to me. My heart breaks to think it is possible to have women and children treated in such a way. I therefore feel torn if such a show is a good idea? Why glamorize a way of life that is so clearly WRONG and SAD.

Thanks for listening.

its intense that in the last few episodes they are finally talking about the light they have shed on gender inequality in the L.D.S Mormon faith. I don't understand the point of getting into politics Bill seems very self serving but has a very convincing way of saying that its for the 'family's well-being'. Why are his ambitions sought-after, and his wives dreams and businesses are treated like pipe-dreams that one day they'll come down from? In a relationship that is significantly compromise for the women how is it that they haven't forced Bill to really compromise at all? I mean he doesn't just do this to his wives, he does this to Don as well. People are not pawns, Bill has his shining in white armor moments, but next to the stack of misuse and manipulation how can he maintain any sort of relationships? I'm glad Sarah finally realized that if she is going to be with in Bill's arm reach, than she has to be ready for him to try to position or use her to his gain. I just think you can't claim a path is for the greater good when it leaves so many casualties behind and breaks the very foundation that your family is based upon. Bill does want Bill wants at the moments, consequences be damned-- Anna being pregant pre-wedlock for example. His ideals are too twisted for even the republican party, he would have made a better prophet it's a position that you can squash everyone else's ambitions and they will actually believe its for the best.

I think the whole point of the show is to shed light on the fact that polygamy happens, like it or not. I know of several people that are in poly relationships and I tried it on for size myself when I was younger. To me making it a crime is stupid. We stand up in defense of the gay community and their right to marry and love who they want, why should plural marriage be any different?

I am sad like a few people to see four of my favorite characters going down the wrong road but I am really hoping that in the next season we see some reconciliations between bill and the wives.

I think bill should take over as prophet like he was supposed to before roman had him booted off the compound and that he should clean it all up. I really think he misunderstood his 'testimony' at the beginning of the season.

HBO shame on you! 9 episodes is simply ridiculous.
March 8, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJC
The 'wives' should all jump ship as Barb apparently has! (Good for her) Bill is as vain and crazy as everybody he always says is against him! He had so many opportunities to NOT 'come out', the writing was on the wall on what the "public" reaction would be and he was stupid and naive to think the time was right for main stream exposure. And 'he' must not read National Geographic because of the recent story of Polygamy in the US. It already exists in 'main stream' America, and not just on the "compounds". As with many things, as long as you don't rock the boat and attract attention to ones self, one (or a family) can live almost any life and life style they'd want. Just like the characters had already been doing! He should have been happy with living a well off life, his own characters vain ambitiousness has probably wrecked his entire family! This short season was really way over the top (are the writers trying to go main stream too?) but we will still wait to see how they write them out of this mess next season. It IS A really GOOD DRAMA with some odd characters like other HBO series have been in the past!

Please Internet,

The point of Big Love is not to promote polygamy. The point is to promote different types of families in today's society. Nowadays, we have many blended families with remarriages and step-chlldren, and we have two-dad families and two-mom families.

Moreover, this is something that has never been done before. This is a real drama going deep into a religion and a culture, including the abuses and the benefits of a close-knit community. Personally, I am shocked at some of the comments I have read on this blog regarding the Mormon faith. I sincerely enjoy and love Big Love, and I view it as cinematic art. However, the abuses committed are based on fact, and the religious views are shocking. If anything, the show and this blog have put biases in my mind toward Mormons. Big Love is definitely not promoting polygamy. Rather, the producers are using polygamy as an illustration of something else.

This show is not a documentary or a reality show. Do not take it so personally. The abuses may be based upon fact, but this is a show nevertheless. In addition, people who comment here as if the show is real are merely playing along.

Kudos to the Big Love crew for turning this show into cinematic art!
