Oh yeah Margene just want you to know that you are one of my favorite people on big love.

Margene,

You are going to save this family from itself. You know what the outside world is like and none of your spouses do. Barb is just so in love with Bill that she can't see past "The Principle". Trust yourself.

Just face it YOU SCREWED UP big time. Why would you marry this guy? Now you are stuck in a marriage and even if you do get out of it you could lose half of what you have worked for and possibly jail time. I think you just need to bite the bullet and come out as the third wife and get it over with or let everything you have worked for go down the drain. You should have just went with Ben and left it with that. Bill is screwing all of you guys and it makes me wonder if any of you have any common sense at all. WHEN A GUY SCREWS YOU OVER YOU GET EVEN....NOT MARRY ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!

I didn't understand what the heck margene was talking about. what i do know is, nikki no longer wants to share which means this "new found" love she has for bill might be a step towards her finding that lawyer guy or simply taking her daughter and her kids and really start.

I knew margene's "solution" was going to backfire in some way..but just not this quickly. also that lawyer lady is going to destroy bill and his family he was a fool to not just go to juniper creek and change things as the head of their little village rather than running for senate.

sarah is a weakling and i am sick of seeing her. i wish she would make up her mind already to live her own life and do what she wants to do. now if thats being in polygamy then so be it, her husband does not look like he would turn her down.

barb, your constant compromising has created a state of confusion for your children. get a hold of yourself. get what money you can and save yourself, bill is selfish.

margene your blog was disappointing but, i like your idea and the fact that you no longer simply have a brain but you USE it now. that fact is thrilling to see....who knows when all of this comes out you might actually be seen as the poor misguided young single mother who was taken advantage of by these crazy people which could boost your ratings.. besides do you really want to stay with bill anyways?? by the looks on your face i don't think you do :)

Margene...., you kindda lost me there with the penny thing but who cares..., you are HOT!!!

True story: About a month ago I canceled the my premium cable service (HBO, Cinemax, Show Time, etc...) because I thought it was a little pricey. Then I remembered, "Margene comes on HBO", so I called them back and renewed my subscription...., at least until the end of the season.

Anyway, I love the uniqueness that you bring to the show; you just don't know what to expect with your character which makes it all the more exciting. Even your name "Ginnifer" is unique and not spelled the traditional way. Nice!! Keep shocking us with your brilliant schemes. ;-)

Love the show and keep up the good work.

A Big Fan. Oh yeah, I'm a big fan of the show also.

Margene i think your pennys are going to land heads up one for everyone but next time before you send your pennys down a tube look to see where they are going to land......... by the way love you dearly see you next season

Margene I have to say that you are my favorite character on the show. You seem the most realistic about the crazy situations that your family gets into. I can't believe you married that guy. What were you thinking. That guy is going to ruin you and your business and end up with half of what you own. He's an opportunist, who was probably using Anna as well. I can't believe you fell for it. You should have tried convincing Bill that he's losing his mind thinking that Utah will accept your way of life just because he's in office. If anything holding a political office will make it worse because the constituents will think he's a scam artists that they can't trust.

P.S. Help Barb, she use to be the glue now she's falling apart. Can't wait til next season :)

Well you did the sensible thing and came to your senses on the marriage to Gordo. But Bill feels like its in the best interest of the campaign to keep things the way they are. Ben playing Gordo. Gordo playing Bill. You've got all these men in a tizzy.

A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E....
Seriously only one more episode, are you trying to kill us here????? My solution for the many of us who will go through Big Love withdrawals...many more Margene Video Blogs...I will be able to find a bit of forgiveness with the short season oh mighty HBO if you just give GG a raise to crank out some more to hold us over ;)

TEAM MARGENE!!!!!

First off to Rudy there are a lot of good shows on HBO besides Big Love. If you only watch it for Margene you could just by the season DVDs instead. The wives will never learn, and they must enjoy this weird abuse. Everyone hates Marilyn's character, but is she really a bad person? Yeah she calls Barb and is self-serving, but I think she is trying to get through to her to. Big deal, someone sees through Bill and his wacko ways. Wish Barb and Tim would get together, and stop teasing us already. They need to kiss and I will feel better.

Margene your full of it. Bill was married when you met him and you were the babysitter. You had an affair with him, got preggars, and joined the fam. You knew what the principal was all about and went right along with it as long as it fulfilled your desire. Now you want more so your taking it any way you can?

Why not tell Bill to wake up? Why not be honest with him and the sister wives in telling them things aren't working the way they should and try to fix it? I thought this show was going to illustrate a dichotomy between the negative aspects of the principal & the positive aspects of the principal making it hard for the audience to judge the characters and their way of life.

Instead Bill just looks like a self absorbed, self righteous idiot with his head up his ass, while his ignorant wives sneak around behaving like adult children lying to Bill, the kids, & one another.

These people made a conscious choice to live this lifestyle but they each only honor the principal if it suits there present desire.

Sara sucks. I was infatuated with her at first. Thought she would show people about loyalty to family even when you disagree with certain things. Thought she had smarts, but that jerk off boyfriend/husband is the phony of phony's.....

If Bill thinks that sleeping with anyone he desires and calling them wife will secure his heaven, he's dumber than Barb, who schedules his sexual activities. mmmm dumb like a fox!!! I love the show it makes me laugh!

Caught the "promise not to roll this many pennies NEXT TIME". Think Margene is considering a "next time" she's married???
March 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMer
Everyone talks about Bill and how selfserving he is, but what about Margene.
Doesn't anyone think she is selfish and selfserving also? She knew what she
was getting into when she married them and unlike Anna, she has stayed, so
buck up and face the music. This season is way too short, why is that HBO?
March 1, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterbigmoma
I agree with most everyone who says this season was way to short. I have and do like Sarah, after all she is a teen bride and needs to get away from what she can not put up with anymore. I think it is great that Nikki is coming into her own figuring out what she has missed in her youth except that she looks like a 1980's leftover. Ben is full of hero worship for his father again, now that he saved his life. I agree about Barb and Tommy, I keep waiting for the two of them to share a kiss, thought one was coming with that embrase last night! Maybe next season! Good luck with getting out of the Goren marriage now woth bill on board about it, I was waiting for Bill to have a heart attack with the tetherball game, that would have brought down the house of cards wouldn't it?

I love Big Love on HBO, it's the ony thing this season I drop everything to watch. It think this family is a work in progress, as a serial poligomist myself, being married 3 times and divorced twice, I can see how they get into and out of trouble. Margene, you are such a work in progress. Your character is evloving all the time as are the other characters. I really think this whole coming out of the closet thing is going to land you all back at Juniper Creek. Wouldn't that be interesting being under Albe's thumb. Anyway, one more episode and then the long wait for the next season. It was such a quick season, we will miss you on Sunday nights.

I understand the penny I have had to meny rolling myself. Keep up the great work. Lov ya!

You people are freaking me out. We ALL KNOW this is a fictional character, RIGHT?? OK, just checking....
March 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterToops
Dear Margene,
Yes, you goofed. Big time... You were too impetuous (like always) But no one can blame you for trying to find a way to protect what you have built all on your own. We all know it had nothing to do with the family, but we don't care.... I only worry that Goren looks like a sleazy slime ball. I love that Bill is finally on the other side of the coin. Having to share...jijiji... Loved that. I know that the storyline is moving full-throttle and kind of bat-out-of heck, but Big Love is one of the most original and thought provoking shows to come around in MANY, MANY years. I sure hope that the people backing the show will consider the audience that Big Love has. We are true to the core. Don't let another "Deadwood" happen. At least PLEASE give us another full season so you can come full circle on so many questions and issues. It so sad when a show just stops. It's really unfair to the views. Also, the cast is amazing! I've kept my cable just for you. and NO I don't think the show has "jumped the shark". What would I like to happen??? For Big Love to touch on all the different situations it has posed. For Bill and his wives to go to Juniper Creek, clean it up, become the prophet and for everyone to leave them the heck alone to live as he pleases... If Gays can have an ungodly marriage, then why can't Bill have his 3 wives... Live and let live... as long as no one is co-hersed or hurt... no incest, no underage marriage, no beatings, etc. Margene, be happy and maintain your wonderful new-found assertiveness...!!!! Go Big Love!!!

It's ok Margie!!! they're just Pennies...right now. But soon they will be quarters!!
March 1, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMichaelZ
Hi Margie,
You know, when you asked me what I thought about the Goran idea, I didn't think you'd actually do it!!!!!!!!!! Girl, you've got guts, that's all I can say. You know I went the Eagle Forum meeting at Barb's house the other day. She is just like you said she was; I really think she thinks she's better than me. You know how depressed I've been, and I just can't deal with how she makes me feel. Oh Margie, let's go out for lunch soon; I really need to talk with you.
<3 Pam

Oh Margene!

I just love that little story about "Pennies"! Life sometimes can be so like that, too many pennies rolling at one time. Don't worry they all will not collide, and if they do; it will still be okay. Because they haven't changed their form, they are still pennies. They will be picked up, and survive to swirl down the tube another day.

I cannot believe we are at the end of another season. They go entirely too fast. I hope we at least get to find out what J.J. is up to partially. I love the fact Nikki is breaking out of her shell. I really did not like her at first, but after seeing the other side of the coin this season, I am beginning to understand her a little bit better. Yes, she does look like a flashback to the future from the "80's", but I think that is because she is trying to relive youth that was lost. I wonder if Barb is ever going to put foot in Bill? He totally disrespects her and puts her down in her so called "place". I beleive in the due respect and submission to the head whenever one is trying to walk out the best welfare for the family, but she bows out to him entirely too much. I'm glad she showed up at the meeting with Marilyn and did not just let him "fire" her. I enjoyed Nikki slapping him, even though at that point he didn't deserve it. He just didn't have it in him to tell her. I'm glad to see he is finally coming back to himself, by being kind that way, and finally standing by Barb on what she thought was important.A house divided against itself cannot stand. I wonder what is he going to do if Margene's marriage to Goren becomes more than paper to Goren. Isn't Marilyn just a *****! I will be glad to see her get what she has coming, even though she is defintely adding spice to the scene! Poor Adalene! I never thought I would say that. And how about that Anya?! Poor Wanda, and Joey has lost his ever loving mind!

So many questions left to be answered. So many cases to close. So many ways to go. Well, we know we will be left hanging after this weeks episode, but that's the way it goes. I can't wait until next season. Maybe the producers will take pity on all of us fans, and give us at least two more episodes the next time around. Is that wishing for too much? Well I guess we'll see. At least I have "True Blood" to look forward to for the Summer!

Oh, and just a little aside for all who do not understand why we blog on Margini's site. Of course we know this is just a show, totally fictional in characters. Of course we know that we are not truly blogging with Margene, or any other character on "Big Love". We just want to have fun, because we are addicted, like those women in Utah who are on entirely too much Prozac and Xanax. It's not hurting anyone. It's good clean fun. So if you can't seem to understand it, or just don't like it, get a life, or at least another show. Maybe you too will find some joy, loosen up, and have a little fun.

On another more positve note, does anybody out there know
what "Censuring" in the Morman church is? Is it some form of excommunication? If so, how does that affect everyone else in their family? I would like to know, so I could understand what has Adalene's panties in such a bunch about J.J. and Roman's desire to censure him.

Much luv to HBO,Big Love, and it's fans,

lady v

Margene, I really do hope you ARE done apologizing to Barb and Nikki, as you said. Stick to your word. I also hope you have a chat with Roman's Ghost: he is the only sane one around. Tell Tommy to steer clear of Barb. And tell Bill that if he didn't like Nikki slapping him in the face he ought to take karate to develop his reflexes. He wasn't too swift in sacrificing Don at Home Plus.
