Damn Margene..I think shes just confused and that really does love Bill. Bill is not treating any of them right so far. He's only thinking of his own goals and not putting his family first. He's left his wives to dangle in the wind...and this is the result of his lack of leadership of the family...and look how he acts towards Ben! He's almost doing the same thing his father did to him!
So far I'm ver yintrigued by this season and can't wait for the next episode...
It would be great to see that plot turn with Ben and Margene ending up together. She is a bread winner and I don't blame her for not telling Bill about how much she earned in a month. She makes more than Barb and Nikki and will have to contribute to the pot alot more $$$. It just doesn't seem fair, maybe a percentage but the whole thing!!! Ben is a better match to the spunky, vivacious Margene and especially can give her the attention she needs.

You are a young vibrant woman Ben is a strong strapping young man Bill is soon to run out of steam is he still taking performance enhancement drugs this is a wake up call. cut your losses, and get a man you can sleep with everynight and be seen with in public. It seems to me that Bill is the only one benefiting from this arrangement
She's a character, she follows a script, she has no free will. Why are you all talking to her like you can influence what she will do next? I mean really, it's just tv.
As far as the character Ben, he's got the right idea, Margene is the hottest of the wives. I wouldn't mind kissing her myself! The character or the actress! To bad i wasn't an actor, i would have auditioned for Ben's role.
Let me see if I have this straight...Even under the continued suspension of disbelief, HBO wants us to believe that a man running for the US Senate is also trying to keep the secret of being illegally married to three wives yet is running on a platform of 'open polygamy' while at the same time is being supported by a mother whos an illegal smuggler and a brother whos a murderer?
Congratulations HBO, youve successfully ruined what started off to be an excellent series. Big Love dies after this season, guaranteed.
Bill has totally become all about Bill and meanwhile the family is in complete chaos. I think Margene should make a run for it with her children and maybe Ben too for that matter....Shame on Bill .....
Hey Vince, Bill's running for the Utah state senate ... not the US Senate. Yeah, I know it's splitting hairs but I'm kinda funny about getting the facts right. I do agree that the premise has gotten a little out of hand in terms of reality suspension. On the other hand, the fact that Bill's brother is a murderer and that his mother is a smuggler hasn't come to light yet. Bill's not even aware of all this so ....
Bill has evolved into a totally selfish and self-centered jerk. Who else is going to be expected to "take a bullet" for his political ambitions? Frankly, the whole family might be better off without him.

The chemistry between Margene and Ben is what has kept me riveted from season to season. I admit I do want them together, but I hope the writers do it slowly. The build-up often times is greater than the actual moment.
Don't you all see where this is going? Bill is gonna end up being a shoe-in for senator, and just before he wins the election he will with-draw from the race because of his mother or brother. Better yet it will be his father that rats him out. As for Margene and Ben, Ben will go to Sarah's house. However he and Margene will secretly meet for a while to either indulge or "talk" about their issue. Which of course Barb or Nicky will find out, and it will end up in a huge capade. I can even see HBO having Bill divorce Margene and trying to gain custody of the kids. However, Margie wasn't born yesterday and has a dark side to her. Which she will get Bill to stop persuit of her children if she doesn't tell the "polygamy" secret. Maybe she'll move out and hook up with the short lived fourth wife. Oh yeah, HBO I can see many options. Need another writer?
Bill is being totally selfish!!! Margene can make it on her own and leave Bill. She is young, beautiful, and successful. He does not appreciate any of his wives. He really needs a "wake up call" before they all leave him.

Most drama shows jump the shark by the 3rd season, but this one keeps getting better!!!
